Graduation Commencement 2021

We have been able to finalize our approved plan for Grad 2021. In order to have parents/guardians present, we must follow a plan similar to last year last year where only the individual Grad and family members will be in the Ceremony space in the school.

The ceremony will occur at 12:00 and end at 3:00 pm on June 12, 2021. Students and families will only be at the school for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Time in the small auditorium will be limited to the diploma presentation only.

We will also be streaming the event live here and recording for those who are unable to attend. 

The schedule has been shared with the students to see when they are to be at the school for their session. 

Grad gown pickup will start at 11:35 on Monday, June 7th.

 

All fees and Grad fees must be paid prior to gown pickup.

Parents/Guardians (max of 4) will be assigned in groups of 10 (alphabetically) to arrive in the school parking lot (student lot, beside the gym) by appointment. Children under 12 can accompany their parents.

Parents/guardians will be met by 2 staff members at the main entrance where they will be signed in and instructed on washing/sanitizing their hands.

Grads will be organized alphabetically (no more than 10 groups at a time) and brought through an entrance (one family unit at a time and observing social distancing) into school.

2 staff members will be the greeters at the front.

If the numbers in the allotted space begin to approach the maximum allowable, some families will be instructed to remain outside in vehicles until the numbers are meeting the requirements.

Once student has received diploma, the family will exit the space at the opposite end of the Auditorium than the entrance and back to their vehicles. Grads/family will have access to washrooms as well as sanitizer at this exit. Visitors will be signed out.

Please ensure that any pictures with your grad in their gown are taken before entering the building as the gown is returned as the grads exit the building.
